Today's Quick Mention:  As I mentioned on Twitter yesterday, I'm really excited that Conan choose TBS as his new home.  He gets an 11pm slot, a four day work week, ownership of this show, a chance to stay in California and a channel that's already ranked #2 on cable TV with 18-49 year olds.  Should work well.

I probably should have already mentioned Suckers' new album, today's song and the fact that they're coming to Austin (April 23 at Emo's with Local Natives), but I've been really busy.  I think.  In any case, they're a good band and you'll be doing yourself a favor by snatching up Wild Smile when Frenchkiss Records puts it out on June 8.  For now though, here's a cover.  Enjoy.

:Suckers - Boys Who Rape (Raveonettes Cover):  I've been on a Raveonettes kick recently (they're actually playing Pysch Fest the same night that Suckers are in town), so to hear the dance-worthy thump taking out in favor of a dark and almost whimsical sound is kind of weird.  Still, what they've shifted to definitely works, and I think I actually prefer this version to the original.
