Today's Quick Mention:  Just in case you didn't all the way buy into my rather negative review of Clash Of The Titans, I went and looked up the film's Rotten Tomato score.  It's currently at 35%.  Seriously.  Don't bother with it.  Spend your money on another movie.  Or candy.

If you caught the podcast this past weekend then you probably had your mind blown by the new Danger Mouse-produced Black Keys single (it can be experienced in video form below).  Today, as it just so happens, brings forth a another new track.  It hasn't been touched by any rodent-themed producers, but it is just as great.  Brothers will be out on May 18 via Nonesuch.  Enjoy.

:The Black Keys - Next Girl:  "I wanted love/But not for myself/But for the girl/So that she could love herself"  As if previous material or the lyrical clip didn't make it obvious enough, these guys are great songwriters.  What you can't tell by reading though, is that Dan and Patrick have taken the slick sound of Attack And Release (their last LP ... or "the one I never revisit") and just about perfected it, and I can't get enough.  Brothers will probably lead to them taking over the world.
