Today's Quick Mention: I know I should be thrilled that Pavement
might be reuniting for a couple of
appearances,
but honestly I'm not that concerned about them doing anything unless it
involves a full blown tour. Guess we'll see what transpires over the
next few days.
I'm not sure if there has ever been a band that's more hit or miss for me
than White Denim, but I do tend to at be least semi-interested in whatever
it is they have going on. Currently, it's this previously unreleased
track, which was probably put out to get you crazy kids ready to snatch up
Fits when it hits store shelves on October 20 via Downtown Music.

Denim - Wet Sand:
My experience with the new record hasn't been one of
excitement, so I'm kind of happy that they dug up (just for
fun?) a gem from the past, as this pretty much showcases how
good they are at making quick, infectious bursts of music.
If you've got a good couple of minutes to just dance
spastically then I highly recommend taking advantage of it
when you click play.
