Today's Quick Mention:  Fun Fun Fun Fest released the full schedule yesterday, and it crushed me.  Why?  Because it finally confirmed that there's no way in hell I'm going to be able to see everything I'd like to.  Oh well.  I suppose that's not necessarily the worst thing in the world.  Or whatever.

I was seriously hoping that with yesterday's arrival of a previously unreleased Los Campesinos track there would be official word on a snazzy new full length, but that didn't happen.  Nevertheless, the song is a good one.  My best guess says that we can probably expect to see it on something in the early part of 2010.  Enjoy.

:Los Campesinos - The Sea Is A Good Place To Think Of The Future:  A sudden change from swarmy remarks buried beneath, for lack of a better word, fun music to political/social-themed rock is not something that most are ever able to pull off, so I think it's pretty amazing that in this song Los Campesinos sound as if it's what they've always been doing.  Good for them.  Although, here's hoping that their days of glorious twee pop aren't over.
