Today's Quick Mention:  My buddies in La Snacks have finally launched a website where you can get all the details you need to participate in their Connect The Dots Festival.  Take a look at it here, and then buy tickets for at least 10 of your friends.

As if I wasn't already curious enough about Kyp Malone's solo work as Rain Machine, Anti- went on and released a new single.  It's like they're forcing me to talk about the record.  OK, maybe not forcing, but there's a least a bit of arm twisting via the timing of their track leakage.  Look out for the self titled debut on September 22.  Enjoy.

:Rain Machine - Smiling Black Faces:  If you happened to catch Give Blood, the first song from the album that I posted up, then you may recall how it essentially sounded like TV On The Radio unleashed.  That isn't the case here.  Fortunately, it isn't any stranger either, as Kyp keeps the song simple and completely headphone-worthy by taking all of the focus and putting it on his voice.  Expect to immediately become enamored.
