I know many of you are probably focused on seeing Where The Wild Things Are at this point, but if you have some spare time I highly recommend Whip It.  It's a great coming of age tale and you get some roller derby action!

- The Rundown -
 

Jacke Earle Haley is rumored to be playing the villain Sinestro in the Green Lantern movie.

Robert De Niro and Jude Law are said to have joined the cast of Thor.  No word on who they might be playing.

John Ashton might reprise his role as Taggart in Beverly Hills Cop 4.

Rumor has it that Vin Diesel has dropped out of XXX 3.  Probably due to Rob Cohen no longer being attached to direct.

Hold up on the Ghostbusters 3 excitement.  Bill Murray says he isn't doing anything until he gets a great script.

Jon Favreau has come out and said that he won't be directing the Avengers.

Chris Pine has been cast as the new Jack Ryan.  He's also in talks to star in DJ Caruso's The Art Of Making Money.

The Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz action comedy once known as Wichita is now titled Knight And Day.

Looks like Gary Ross is off of Venom and on Matt Helm.  Supposedly, he'll direct and look to bring in Bradley Cooper as the Bond-esque Helm.

Charlize Theron has dropped out of the Tourist, which is about a spy who uses an unsuspecting tourist to her advantage.  It's said that Angelina Jolie will replace her.

Jim Sturgress and Kirsten Dunst have joined the cast of Upside Down.  The movie is said to be a sci-fi romance tale about a guy who falls in love with a girl in an alternate reality.

Will Ferrell will star in Everything Must Go, which is an indie comedy about a man who has to sell all of his possessions after he loses his job and his wife leaves him.

Clive Owen and Catherine Keener will star in Trust.  The movie will follow a couple who find out that they their daughter has been victimized by a sexual predator.

Roland Emmerich says he'd love to do a sequel to Independence Day, but Will Smith costs too much.

Bryan Singer has had talks with Fox about returning to the X-Men franchise.

There's a pretty wild rumor floating around that Michael Bay is planning to kill of Megan Fox's character in the next Transformers movie.

Tommy Lee Jones and Matthew McConaughey will star in Lawyer, which is said to follow a young lawyer who suddenly gets a chance to defend a high profile client.
