Today's Quick Mention:  I've been anxious for quite some time to see Spike Jonze's take on Where The Wild Things Are, but the recent barrage of TV/Web spots have actually managed to make me even more excited.  Now, tomorrow's 9pm showing at the IMAX has to be magical.  Or else.

I don't know exactly where Laura Veirs disappeared to over the last couple of years, but I'm happy to see that she's back.  So, check out the interesting first single below, and then scribble down somewhere that Laura's new full length, July Flame, is going to be put on store shelves by Raven March Band Records at the beginning of next year.  Enjoy.

:Laura Veirs - I Can See Your Tracks:  Laura's never really had a shortage of sounds, so you can certainly expect to come across a wealth of them here, which is both good and bad since your first listen will probably leave you thinking that the track is a little all over the place.  But, just trust me and be sure to give it a shot or two so that you'll have the chance to appreciate the very subtle, yet whimsical arrangement that she put together.
