Today's Quick Mention: Almost had a solid showing in regards to my NFL activity
this week, but Miami ruined me. Their win caused me to go 9-5 in my game picks
and the late TD brought my fantasy football lead down to a tie. Talk
about ridiculous!
While I'm sure some small part of you would like for me to continue sharing
songs from the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack, I say we move on to
Barsuk's newest act, Phantogram. Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel are the
two brains behind the music, and they'll be releasing a sure to snazzy
effort titled Eyelid Movies on February 9. Enjoy.

This is an absolutely killer track. I mean, I can't
even pick a favorite part; the bits of static, the looped
effects, the calming vocals, the way in which the
arrangement slowly unfolds - every moment is a fantastic
breath of fresh air. Believe me when I say that I
haven't heard any electronic music this good since last
year's Alpinisms from School Of Seven Bells.
