Today's Quick Mention:  As you may have already heard, John Pettis of Bankrupt And The Borrowers died Friday morning due to smoke inhalation caused by a fire in his home.  If you'd like to donate a few bucks to help out his fiancée and friends that lived with him then you can do so here.

Well, the much ballyhooed indie-fest that is the soundtrack for Twilight: New Moon continued to trickle out onto the internet over the weekend, so I made the effort to check out a few more of its tracks.  Below is my favorite of the bunch (and yes, that's over Grizzly Bear and/or Bon Iver with St. Vincent).  You can own the whole affair on October 20.  Enjoy.

:Lykke Li - Possibility:  When I last saw Lykke Li she was playing Antone's with what seemed to be a set of songs that were either absolute gems (one of them is in video form below) or album filler tracks that sounded like prom ballads.  This is somewhere in between.  You won't find that charming kick to the hips that some of her work has, but if you pay attention you'll notice a few great lines and a surprisingly ethereal feel.
