If you haven't done it yet you should definitely buy passes to the Austin Film Festival.  It runs October 22-29, and there's a pretty nice schedule of films to be shown.  I'll be there.  We can wait in line together.

- The Rundown -
 

Word has it that Ivan Reitman has been asked to direct Ghostbusters 3, but he has yet to decide whether he wants to or not.

Matt Groening has come out and said it's unlikely he'll do another Simpsons movie.

Eddie Murphy has dropped out of Bill Condon's Richard Pryor biopic.  His replacement?  Marlon Wayans.

Gary Ross (Pleasantville) may direct the Venom movie.

Warner Bros. is planning another Vacation movie.  Unfortunately, it would be about the Griswold's son and would not star Chevy Chase.

Adrien Brody has been cast as the lead in Predators.  Topher Grace is also rumored to be joining the cast that already includes
Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins, Alice Braga, Oleg Taktarov, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali and Louiz Ozawa.

Joss Whedon's The Cabin In The Woods has been delayed so that it can be converted to 3D.

Kirsten Bell will star opposite of Christina Aguilera in the musical Burlesque.  She will play the girl whose life spirals out of control when Aguilera's character's career takes off.

Zombieland sequels are reportedly already being considered.

Michael Mann may direct a biopic on war photographer Robert Capa.

F. Gary Gray recently said that a sequel to the Italian Job is still a possibility.

Mark Wahlberg will star in the American remake of
Reykjavic-Rotterdam.  The film follows a man who is talked into one last crooked job by a friend who intends to betray him.

Some think that a Call Of Duty movie may be in the works.
