with a burst of ... fun, but because I've got a super important meeting at
my day job today, you're getting something calming from the Mercury Program.
Look for the veteran instrumental music act to release Chez Viking, their first album
since 2003, early next year. Enjoy.

While there isn't a cinematic-esque composition or a
thunderous post-rock climax (my favorite two instrumental
rock traits) anywhere to be found in this song, I can't help
but love the wonderfully layered guitar bits and immaculate
drumming that really make this one well crafted gem.
Grab some headphones! And then promptly try not to
zone out the rest of the day.
