Today's Quick Mention:  So, I took a little trip down to the IMAX last night to see Star Trek.  It was awesome.  Partly because it was on a huge screen with an incredibly loud sound system, but mostly because the flick is just one amazingly fun ride (and this was my second viewing).  See it if you haven't.

Initially, I was more than ready to champion the re-release of King Khan And The Shrines' 2007 effort What Is?!, but then Vice decided to kill that excitement by only sharing one of the few tracks that happened to be on last year's The Supreme Genius Of.  What the hell is the point of that?  Anyhow, a new tune if floating around, so I'm now ready to recommend the LP.  Enjoy.

:King Kahn And The Shrines - 69 Faces Of Love:  This song is ridiculous, but most of their material is and I think that's a large part of why I love them so much.  They're just so good at keeping their humor intact whether they're coming at you with a blistering soul effort or, as is this case with this gem, a calmer, more groove-inducing jam.  Feel free to laugh and dance sensually, if you can.
