Again, damn my hide, I'm running late, exceptionally, so, no
idle chatter, just ranting about three songs, all positive.
As always, thanks for reading.
Who/What:
The Coathangers - Time Passing
Where'd I Find It:
Somewhere in deep dark confines of the cesspool entitled
To Listen To.
Why
Do I Like It:
I recall thinking The Coathangers were funny a while back
because they had a song that talked about them punching
other women in the vagina. This track has no such
reference, and though that saddens me, this sort of gutter
punk meets riot grrrl meets hipster music cracks my face in
two.

Who/What:
Real Estate - Beach Comber
Where'd I Find It:
Through a man named Whiskey Pete. I will say no more.
Why
Do I Like It:
'Cause the temperature is rising and this cruisy,
semi-tropical rock 'n' roll sets just the right tone for one
or twelve ice cold Pacificos on a blazing summer day on the
concrete patio of my "back yard". It's also just damn good
music.

Who/What:
Woods - Rain On
Where'd I Find It:
This man Whiskey Pete, he has all the goods.
Why
Do I Like It:
It's like an acoustic version of the loud, psych-heavy rock
and roll I've been shoving down your gullets for weeks.
Weird, strange, but shot through with beautiful acoustic
guitar. I imagine this is what The Dodos sound like on
several hits of acid.
