Guess what!?  I'm totally attending a screening of Star Trek tomorrow, and I can't wait to see it.  On another note, those are words that I never thought I'd put together.  Seriously, excitement about a Trek flick?  No way!

Vin Diesel recently said that David Twohy is currently finishing up a script for a third Riddick movie, and they hope to shoot it next year.

Joe Dante has let it be known that he will have nothing to do with a Gremlins 3.

Andy Garcia and Ray Liotta have signed on to star in La Linea, which is about an assassin tracking down one of the world's biggest drug traffickers.


There's a rumor floating around that one of Peter Jackson's next projects might be about Nazi zombies going back in time to kill Jesus Christ.  It would be titled Dambusters.

Viggo Mortensen's The Road has finally gotten a solid release date.  Expect to see it on October 16.

Jim Carrey is in the running to play the lead role in last year's Black List-topping flick, The Beaver.

Keanu Reeves will replace Clive Owen in Cartagena, which is about an undercover agent who gets caught up in a complex plot involving drug dealers and other agents.

A semi-autobiographical movie based on author Bret Easton Ellis is in the works.  As of now Benicio Del Toro is attached to star.

The role of Poseidon in the upcoming Clash Of The Titans remake will be played by Danny Huston.

Oliver Stone has officially lined up Wall Street 2.  Michael Douglas is supposed to return, and Shia LaBeouf may also have a part.

Born To Be A Porn Star will have a cameo from Don Johnson as a porn director.

Universal has started working on a Drop Dead Fred remake that would star Russell Brand.

Rumor has it that Bill Murray may appear in Zombieland as...well...a zombie.

Robert Zemeckis recently noted that he has a few ideas floating around in his head for a Roger Rabbit sequel.

Speaking of returning to older properties, Ridley Scott may also be thinking about doing another Alien movie.

Rob Letterman has added Amanda Peet to his Gulliver's Travels cast.

There's a chance that Mike Newell (Prince Of Persia) may direct the Lone Ranger movie.
