Today's Quick Mention:  Did you guys see this stuff about the Smashing Pumpkins holding auditions for a new drummer?  It's crazy.  And weird.  Has Billy Corgan really reached the point where experienced musicians don't want to work with him, only kids from the street?

Hampered with some sort of sickness, I spent yesterday curled up on the couch and feeling hazy as ever until about 9pm.  Then I listened to some brand new Mary Onettes and felt better.  Coincidence?  Maybe, but I think I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.  Labrador will release the below number as single on April 29.  Enjoy.

:The Mary Onettes - Dare:  Simply put, this is a beautiful track.  You put it on, it fills the room with its lovely ways and then you feel all nice and warm inside.  The end.  Well, at least it is for those of you that have been following the Swedish act over the last couple of years and know that this sort of thing is too be expected from them.  The rest of you are set for a pleasant surprise that my words can't properly describe.
