Today's Quick Mention:  In case you haven't noticed yet, Saddle Creek and Cursive are selling the band's new album, Mama, I'm Swollen, for a super cheap $4.  Each day that price bumps up a buck (it'll top out at a still relatively low $9), so bite now for the best deal.

It seems like roughly forever ago that everyone in the blog-o-sphere was dancing and praising Scottish artist Calvin Harris, so when I received word yesterday of a new single I actually pulled out his debut to see if it was still good.  It is.  I don't believe he has a title yet for this sophomore LP, but it is expected sometime in the summer.  Enjoy.

:Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone:  As I've pointed out before, in the last year there have been a handful of bigger acts that have moved away from the sounds that they're known for and onto to what could almost be considered house music, and the latest would seem to be Calvin.  Sure, he's always worked with dance-enthused electronics so you can say it was essentially that before, but I think that then it was raucous stuff, whereas now it's polished and ready to be loved by all.  The Killers should have talked to him before putting out Human.
