You know, the more I think about Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen the less I like it (and I already was excatly fond of it).  That thing was just a huge mess.  Thoughts?

News (or that lack there of)!  Read on.

 



- The Rundown -
 

Starting in 2010, the Academy Awards will now nominate 10 films for Best Picture.

Zak Penn recently said that he has seriously begun working on the script for the upcoming Avengers movie.

Frank Darabont is still working on trying to get Fahrenheit 451 made.

Kyle Ward has been hired to pen a script for a Hitman sequel.

David Fincher is reportedly in talks to direct a movie based on the creation of Facebook.

Will Smith is still looking at doing an Oldboy remake, but is currently wrapped up in a legal battle over the rights.  I hope that situation never changes.

Ryan Reynolds will star in Buried, which is about a civilian contractor who wakes up in a coffin with only a cell phone, a candle and a knife.

Zack Snyder recently commented that Frank Miller is currently writing a sequel to 300.  He also said that Sucker Punch may end up being PG-13.

Someone else has popped up as the potential director for Predators.  This time it's Nimrod Antal (Vacancy).

 

Avi Arad is working on an adaptation of the PS3 game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

Michael Bay's next project may be an adaptation of the sci-fi series I Am Number Four.

Just in case you had heard some rumors that said otherwise, Darren Aronofsky is still working on a remake of Robocop.
