Today's Quick Mention:  If you just so happen to be out at the Dell Diamond for the Round Rock Express game tonight then you can totally see me throw out the first pitch!  It's going to be great ... as long as I manage to get the ball over the plate and right in the catcher's mitt.

I know a lot has been made of Twitter and its plethora of users who get on don't do much more than talk about brushing their teeth, but there are people out there doing some good stuff with it.  For instance, the Raveonettes, who have started releasing demos via the service.  Awesome.  Check out one below, and then expect to possibly see it on their LP in the fall.  Enjoy.

:The Raveonettes - Last Dance (Demo):  I think that Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo have put out great album after great album, so whatever direction they choose to take the new effort in is fine by me.  Although,  I'll admit that's because I know that in this song the album will more than likely have at least one of their trademark vintage rock tracks, which have just the right amount of fuzz and are catchy as hell.  Hooray.
