Today's Quick Mention: I don't fully get Harry Potter.
Sure, last night I saw the latest film and found it to be pretty damn great,
but I can't figure out why the seven books weren't turned into three (or
four, at the most) concise movies. I mean, it's been 8 years and
there's still two flicks left to go.
Speaking of things formed in 2001, it's TV On The Radio! Many of you
would probably love for the band to churn out another full length, but I
have to confess that I'm a bit more intrigued with the various projects that
its members are using to stay busy. The latest? Kyp Malone as
Rain Machine. His self titled debut will be out September 22 on Anti-.
Enjoy.

Machine - Give Blood:
I wasn't expecting Kyp to sound like a bottled up/over the
top/raw version of TV On The Radio, but that's pretty much
how this song plays out. You'll want headphones.
And time. Because, to be honest, listening to this guy
without limits might take some of you a short while to fully
appreciate. For me, it's just a fitting way to end a
long and strange week.
