I think I'll be attending an early screening of Paper Heart this Tuesday, which should be neat.  Probably.  Actually, I don't know.  That movie looks as if it will either be really entertaining or just straight crap.  Guess we'll see.

Russell Crowe has said that he's in talks to star in Master And Commander 2.

Road-trip comedy Ceder Rapids has added Ed Helms to its cast.  The movie is supposedly about a small-town business man who suddenly has to represent his company at big regional event.

Matthew Michael Carnahan (The Kingdom, State Of Mind) has been brought in to revise the script for World War Z.  Marc Forster is still attached to direct.

Robert Rodriguez has things moving along nicely for Machete.  Robert De Niro, Jonah Hill and Michelle Rodriguez are all said to have roles.

Willem Dafoe has joined the cast of John Carter Of Mars.

MGM has reportedly started the process of looking for another director for their proposed Robocop reboot.  Apparently, Darren Aronofsky's schedule might be too tight for them.

Hugh Jackman has signed on to star in Avon Man, which is about an auto-worker who loses his job and begins selling makeup.

Stephen Chow has completely dropped out of the Green Hornet.
 

Emily Blunt will join Matt Damon in the adaptation of The Adjustment Bureau.

Denzel Washington has had to drop out of Tony Scott's Unstoppable because of salary issues.

Natalie Portman has joined the cast of Thor.  She will play the role of Jane Foster.

David Arquette and Courtney Cox have confirmed that that they will appear in Scream 4.


A Dr. Kevorkian bio-pic is currently underway with Al Pacino, John Goodman and Susan Sarandon.

Paramount is looking at doing a movie based on the Max Steel toy line.
