Today's Quick Mention:  Anyone happen to catch Spoon's kickoff show (they're doing three in a row) at Stubb's last night?   I almost went, but I decided to stick to my plan of attending tonight so that I can see Low play as well.  Still, I'd love to know what the set list was like.  Confess!

While I loved the single Tokyo Moon (presented in video form below), I didn't find Windmill's Puddle City Racing Lights to be the debut I was looking for.  Yet, here we are, so surely that means main brain Matthew Thomas Dillon got it right on Epcot Starfields, right?  No clue.  But whether he does or not at least he delivered another great lead track.  The LP is due mid-September.  Enjoy.

:Windmill - Big Boom:  While I did have a press release that made a big effort to point out that the new album was heavily inspired by Dillon's trip to the Epcot Center as a child, I didn't find it too difficult to see that something imaginative and whimsical was on the guy's brain.  I mean, just listen to this thing.  It's pretty much as big of a listen as you can find.  Use it to put a skip in your step today.
