Isn't this such a weird time for movies?  On one hand there's absolutely nothing new that's good (as evidenced by Noah's Weekly Movie Guide), but there's a constant stream of information for really cool stuff that'll be coming out later.  It's sort of like being hungry without anything to eat - I want to catch a movie, but there's nothing to see!

Anyhow, here's all that news to get you excited about...later.  Read on.

- The Rundown -

Warner Bros and Fox have settled their Watchmen dispute.  The film's release date will stay the same.

More Iron Man 2 rumors are floating around.  One is that Emily Blunt may play the Black Widow, and the other is in regards to Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury - it may not happen because of contract issues.

Johnny Depp's next project may be The Rum Diaries, which would see him as Hunter S. Thompson one more time.

A Steve McQueen biopic, based on Marshall Terrill's biography of the star, is currently being planned.

Jackie Chan could be joining the Karate Kid reboot as Mr. Miyagi.

There's been word about a slew of Wolverine reshoots, but Hugh Jackman has come out and made it clear that they're actually shooting scenes that couldn't be done because of scheduling conflicts.  Supposedly, director Gavin Hood has had one hell of a time on set, so who knows what's really going on.

McG has let it be known that he'd love for Will Smith to be in his 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea flick.

Keanu Reeves will play the role of Spike Spiegel in the big screen adaptation of Cowboy Bebop.

Two recently canceled TV shows, Jericho and Pushing Daises, might get movies to help wrap them up.

Andrew Stanton has said that he's working on his second draft for John Carter Of Mars, the film is still going to be live-action and it's for Disney, not Pixar.

Nottingham seems to be in real trouble.  Sienna Miller has dropped out and there's a rumor going around that Russell Crowe would like to have Ridley Scott replaced.

Joaquin Phoenix was apparently serious about quitting acting and becoming a musician, as he's now working with P. Diddy to make a rap album.  Better yet, Casey Affleck is going to shoot a documentary about it.

Mitch Hurwitz has said that he hasn't written an Arrested Development script yet, and he won't until he knows exactly who will be in the movie (can you say Michael Cera?).

Unfortunately, the brilliant Let The Right One In will not be included in the Best Foreign Film category at the Academy Awards.  It was released after the Swedish cut-off date.

Edgar Wright has added Micheal Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin and Chris Evans to the cast for Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.
