Today's Quick Mention:  Our very own Noah Sanders has decided that writing about music just isn't enough, so he now has a weekly column over in the film section of the site.  You should check it out when you get the chance.

To end this first week back in action is the craziest, most insane track I've ever heard.  Or not.  It's really just a nice little tune from the fine people that topped my album list last year, Thao Nguyen And The Get Down Stay Down.  I've been loving this song on the vinyl version of We Brave Bee Stings And All for a while now, but it wasn't until yesterday that I finally got around to checking out Terrorbird's Rare Gems compilation and noticed I could actually share it.  Enjoy.

:Thao Nguyen And The Get Down Stay Down - You've Really Got A Hold On Me:  "I don't like you/But I love you"  In last year's tongue-in-cheek and/or totally real acceptance speech Thao mentioned that her Mom is always telling her that she should make a hip hop album.  It would probably be pretty good, but I think this gem is proof that she should really consider something a bit more retro and bluesy.  Have fun trying not to listen to this on repeat.
