Does anyone else find it really odd that Hollywood didn't push out any romantic comedies or dramas for Valentine's Day?  I mean, they released Friday The 13th, which you think would hit theaters in October.  Someone should help them with this.

If Emily Blunt doesn't land the role of Black Widow in Iron Man 2 there's a chance that Scarlett Johansson may be the next choice.

Samuel Bayer has been hired as the director of the Nightmare On Elm Street remake.

David Cronenberg will direct the Matarese Circle.  The adaptation of the Robert Ludlum novel will reportedly feature Denzel Washington and Tom Cruise in the lead roles.

In other Cruise news, he has signed on to appear in Hardy Men with Ben Stiller.  The movie is an updated take on the Hardy Boys books.

Christopher Nolan's next flick will be a sci-fi movie that he wrote called Inception.

Some buzz on the Flash has suddenly started up.  Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights) is currently being rumored to be the favored choice to play the titular character.

Josh Schwartz, writer of X-Men: First Class, has said that the movie will not deal with the Phoenix storyline.  Also, he isn't directing.

Judi Dench is the latest (Daniel Craig was the first) to say that some humor should be brought back to the Bond franchise by way of Moneypenny and Q.

Cate Blanchett is said to be close to taking the role of Maid Marian in Nottingham.

Harrison Ford, Keri Russell and Brendan Fraser will appear in an untitled flick based on the life of John Crowley, who pioneered enzyme replacement in order to save his children from a rare disease.

For some reason Universal has decided to make a Stretch Armstrong movie.

Jonah Hill's next film will be The Adventurer's Handbook

Curtis Hanson may direct the forever in development Gemini Man.  Supposedly the movie is about an older assassin being hunted by a younger, cloned version of himself.

Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins have been cast in Woody Allen's next film.  No word yet on a title or plot.

Jean-Claude Van Damme has said that he's interested in doing a Bloodsport 2.

Aaron Eckhart, Amber Beard and Richard Jenkins are reportedly going to join Johnny Depp in the Rum Diaries.

James McTeigue let is slip that the Wachowski Brothers would like Plastic Man to be their next project, but they're currently being courted to do a Superman trilogy.

John Malkovich will be play the villain in Jonah Hex.
