Today's Quick Mention: I love Pluckers Trivia. Last night
the team I'm on managed to continue its streak of finishing in the Top 5,
which is good, but I'd really like to finish in first at least once.
On a related note, our name this week was What did
the five fingers say to the face? Rihanna!.
Hilarious. And wrong.
Seriously, has 2009 not had some killer stuff so far? I mean, I
haven't even really been listening to full albums because of so many great
singles (probably why the SOTO family has shared 116 tracks in only 37
posts). Crazy. Anyhow, below is another one. It's from the
the Thermals, who have a new LP called Now We Can See coming out on

the comforting downward slope portion of the week, but I
think you'll agree that an infectious piece of power-pop
like this can only make things better - as it will forcibly
put a skip in your step. On the other hand, there's a
good chance you might just end up being distracted (and
perhaps content?) with the fact that an act from Portland,
Oregon managed to not sound, for lack of a better a word,
down.
