Today's Quick Mention:  This weekend I was informed by Feedburner that Google is now where my XML Feed calls home.  That's all fine and dandy, but those of you who use Bloglines might have to add the new link (which you can do by jumping over to the Tools page).  Everyone else should be fine.

It has been a good while since I've posted any instrumental music of the sweeping, headphone-worthy kind, so it pleases me to have brand new Mono today.  Their fifth full length, Hymn To The immortal Wind, will be out on Temporary Residence LTD. on March 24 and, if I'm super lucky, they'll play in Austin soon.  Enjoy.

:Mono - Ashes In The Snow:  At 12 minutes this is a rather long song.  Or, as I like to call it, epic, and I don't mean that in the oh-so-familiar 11 minutes of slow (and perhaps groan-inducing for some) build-up and 1 minute of dramatic closure kind of way.  No, I'm talking about 12 minutes of absolute beauty that result in you feeling as though you've been enlightened and set free.  Incredible.
