I'd love to spend some more time talking about Christian Bale and his righteous meltdown (especially since I just saw a promo on TV hyping it up), but I think I'll pass.

Dreamworks and Universal have decided not to start working together, so the former is now in talks with Disney for help in distributing its films.

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman have signed on to star in The Baster, which is about a guy who swaps his friend's artificial insemination semen with his own and then has to deal with knowing that he is the actual father of her child.

There is no script or anything, but things are very much underway for a movie sequel to Sex And The City.

For a while there's been talk of a Three Stooges movie, and now there are some casting rumors floating that have Johnny Deep as Moe and Sean Penn as Larry.  No word on Curly yet.

Orlando Bloom will star in The Cross.  The film is said to be a sci-fi tale about a man attempting to cross a mysterious border that no else ever has.

Martin Campbell is in talks to direct Green Lantern.

Robert Downey Jr. recently said that Mickey Rourke is not playing the Crimson Dynamo in Iron Man 2.

Speaking of Rourke, he has signed on for another movie.  This is one is called St. Vincent and is about a hitman who disguises himself as a priest while he finishes an assignment.

Ewan McGregor will star in The Electric Slide.  The movie will be based on the true story of a man who robbed 72 Los Angeles banks in the 80s.

Brad Pitt and Steven Soderbergh are teaming up for Moneyball, which is about Oakland A's manager Billy Beane and the computer program that he wrote to help keep the team competitive.

Al Pacino has signed on to play the role of King Lear in an adaptation of the play.

Naomi Watts recently mentioned that she is still very confident that a remake of The Birds will happen.

Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down) has been hired to rewrite the script for Doug Liman and Jake Gyllenhaal's untitled sci-fi flick.

Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson have joined the cast of The Killer Inside Me, which is said to be about a young sheriff with multiple personalities.

Terry Gilliam's next film will be Zero Theorem, and it will feature Billy Bob Thornton as a computer wizard trying to discover the meaning of life.

Benecio Del Toro and Daniel Day-Lewis have signed on to star in Martin Scorsese's Silence, which is said to be about two priests and their troubles after traveling to Japan to spread the gospel.
