Today's Quick Mention: I'm having a hard time getting my head
around all of this Christian Bale hoopla. He yelled at a guy. It
doesn't matter. I mean, if he had hit him with a batarang or a rolled
up newspaper then I could see why people would be outraged, but he just
yelled. Let's move on with life.
As fate would have it, whenever I make a list (like all of the ones that
wrapped up 2008) I tend to spend a lot of time thinking about those that
didn't make the cut. You know, the ones that just missed out.
For instance, Project Jenny, Project Jan in last year's top 50 (not 55)
songs list. 2009 may be different. The Colors EP is out
now, and a full length will be available later in the year. Enjoy.

Jenny, Project Jan - Pins And Needles (Featuring Fujiya And
Miyagi):
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised to see that
this ended up being exactly what I wanted it to be, which is
a more playful, relaxed version of Fujiya And Miyagi.
Those guys are always so, for lack of a better a word,
tight, so PJPJ's penchant for inspiring movement works in
their favor like you wouldn't believe. Here's hoping
they team up more.
