Today's Quick Mention: Can you believe what happened in the
Super Bowl!? I so badly wanted Kurt Warner and the Cardinals to pull
out a win, but they were too good, scored with too much time left on the
clock and allowed the Steelers to gather themselves at the last, most
crucial moment. Bummer.
Obviously, I didn't follow through with the impulse, but when I got a new
Casiotone For The Painfully Alone track in my inbox late on Friday I almost
double posted. That's just how good it is. Expect to see the
effort, which is titled Advance Base Battery Life and features plenty
of guests, released on Tomlab in March. Enjoy.

For The Painfully Alone - Old Panda Days (Featuring Nick
Krgovich Of No Kids):
We're not that deep into 2009, I know, but this is honestly
one of the best songs I've come across so far. It's
not quite as pop as what Cassette's Won't Listen put out
last year, but it has that same sort of cool and calm
approach to everything. You're meant to sprawl out on
the floor with this pouring into your ears via some
headphones.
