Today's Quick Mention:  Last night I watched Battle Royale, which Quentin Tarantino called his favorite film from the last 20 years, and I absolutely loved it.  Maybe not to the point where I'd put at the top of my own list, but it's certainly worth multiple viewings.

Despite being one of my favorite bands, I have not being doing a good job of keeping up with what the Postmarks having going on.  So, of course, I totally missed out on making a big deal out of their latest full length being released last week.  Shame on me.  Anyhow, it's titled Memoirs At The End Of The World, and you need it.  Enjoy.

:The Postmarks - My Lucky Charm:  With the Pipettes seemingly bent on never releasing anything again, I think it's important to have another infectious vintage pop act to desperately cling on to, and the Postmarks are as good a candidate as any.  Need proof?  Then listen to anything they've ever done, or expedite the process and click play on this bouncy gem and prepare yourself to be swept away to your happy place.
