Had the
chance to see District 9 for the second time the
other day, and I think I ended up loving it even more than I
did after the first time I saw it. Please go and
witness its awesome sci-fi glory if you haven't already.
Here's what you came for. Read on.

Seth's
Green Hornet has been delayed from June 2010 to
December. Surely, this isn't being considered an
awards-worthy flick ... right?
Rob Zombie has decided to remake the Blob, but for
whatever reason he is looking to not actually have a
blob. It makes no sense.
Steven Spielberg is planning on turning Michael Crichton's
Pirate Latitudes into a movie. David Koepp will
pen the script.
Gus Van Sant's next film will be Restless. No
word yet on the plot.
Ericson Core (Invincible) has been brought on to
direct XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage.
Rumor has it that Christopher Nolan may try to fully shoot
the next Batman in IMAX. Also, there's another
floating around about Megan Fox playing Catwoman, but that's
just silly.
John Landis and Simon Pegg are teaming up to do a movie
(based on a true story) about a pair of guys who kill people
and then sell the cadavers to a college. It will be
titled Burke And Hare.
It looks as though Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks
Later) will replace Gore Verbinski as the director of
the thought-to-be canceled Bioshock.
Rose McGowan has come out said that she is still set to star
in Red Sonja. Apparently, it was supposed to
shoot this year, but will instead do so in 2010.
Maggie Grace has signed on to appear in James Mangold's
currently untitled spy thriller with Tom Cruise and Cameron
Diaz.
Jim Sheridan will direct Daniel Craig in the upcoming
Dream House, which is about a man who unknowingly moves
his family to a house where a vicious murder took place.
Wedding Banned will star Robin Williams. It's
said to be about a long divorced couple who kidnap their
daughter on her big day so that she won't make the same
mistake that they did.
Jet Li has signed onto do a Chinese drama titled Ocean's
Paradise.
No word yet on the plot.
Black Dynamite, which stars Michael Jai White as a
complete badass, will finally be released on October 16.
