Today's Quick Mention:  It's really of no consequence to you, but it really bummed me out yesterday when I found out that World's Fair had folded.  They were one of my favorite PR firms, and I'll really miss working with the folks over there.  Here's hoping they all land on their feet somewhere else.

As was the case with Imaad Wasif, The Dutchess And The Duke delivered one of my favorite songs last year, and it was from an album (She's The Dutchess, He's The Duke) that I never heard in its entirety.  Oops.  Count on me being first in line for Sunset/Sunrise when it gets released on October 6 via the always solid Hardly Art.  Enjoy.

:The Dutchess And The Duke - Hands:  "I can't win/I can't lose/And everything I do is wrong"  While I was secretly hoping that this would be another fantastic Rolling Stones-esque gem like Reservoir Park, I'm more than a little OK with the borderline epic folk song that they turned out instead.  Now, excuse me I'm going to have a drink and then spend the night singing this loudly.
