Today's Quick Mention: After three months of wins, loses,
wings and beer at Pluckers, the Useless Trivia Finals have finally arrived.
Will Team Dine N' Dash get it done and totally kick ass? I
believe so. Still, feel free to keep those fingers crossed tonight.
Today's band didn't exactly give me much more than a bunch of press quotes,
but that's OK since they provided the only thing you really need to get to
know them anyway, a track. They're called The Fear And Trembling, and
you can currently find them playing shows around New York in support of an
LP titled The Fear And Trembling's Octopus. Enjoy.

At just under ten and a half minutes you would think that a
sizeable amount of effort would be required to get through this without becoming bored out of your mind.
However, that isn't really the case, and I believe it's
because, while pieced together very nicely, this song is all
over the damn place. Classic rock leanings? Big,
90s style chugging guitar riffs? Sweeping strings?
A chaotic last minute climax? Inspired vocals?
Yeah, all of that's in there, and it's as interesting as can
be. Now slap on some headphones and get to digesting
it.
