guys been reading all of the positive buzz for GI Joe:
The Rise Of Cobra? I was convinced that it was
going to end up being the worst film of the year, but now I
don't think so. Too bad the screening I'm attending
isn't until this Thursday, I'd love to see it sooner.

Jeremy
Renner (The Hurt Locker) has said that he is in the
running to star in Mad Max 4.
Jesus Christ Superstar is said to be close to being remade by
Marc Webb (500 Days Of Summer).
The famous pirate movie Captain Blood looks as if
it's going to be remade. Only this time around the
setting will be space.
Disney is still searching for someone to direct Pirates
Of The Caribbean 4. Rob Marshal (Chicago) is the latest to
be mentioned as a possible replacement for Gore Verbinski.
Joe Dante seems to think that a remake of the Gremlins
movie is on the way. In case you don't know, he
directed the first two.
Looks like the next Aliens flick is actually going to
be directed by Ridley Scott. It was rumored that he
would only produce.
The guy who wrote Taken, Robert Mark Kamen is set to
adapt the novel Lord's Day. Supposedly it's
about a bunch of high ranking political figures in the UK
who get kidnapped.
Michael
Sheen has been cast in Tron Legacy.
Speaking of Tron Legacy, director Joseph Kosinsky will
follow it up with Oblivion. The movie is said
to be about a soldier who searches a bleak planet for the
last vestiges of an alien race.
Depending on DVD sales, development on Monsters Vs Aliens
2 may start in the fall.
Bryce Dallas Howard is all set to play the role of Victoria
in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Mile Kunis has joined the cast of Darren Aronofsky's
Black Swan.
Josh Brolin may be close to replacing Javier Bardem in the
Wallstreet sequel Money Never Sleeps.
Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Micheal Pena and Bridget
Moynahan have joined the cast of Battle: Los Angeles,
which is about an alien invasion that happens in ...
Los Angeles.
Richard Linklater is almost set to direct Liars (AE),
which is about a woman collecting lost items from her
ex-boyfriends as she travels to see Obama's inauguration.
A script based on the game inFAMOUS has been picked
up by Sony Pictures.
DJ Caruso is said to helming an adaptation of the game
Dead Space.
Steven Spielberg may be close to signing on to direct a
movie based on the Matt Helm counter-agent character
from the almost 30 novels by David Hamilton.
Supposedly, it will be very Bourne-esque.
There's a rumor floating around that Warner Bros is
desperate to get another Superman movie in
development, so they are considering the Wachowski duo (and
probably director James McTiegue as well) as a possible way
to do so.
Jerry Bruckheimer has snatched up the rights to World War
Robot. The film, as you probably guessed, is about
humans fighting robots.
Kwon San Woo is said to the preferred choice to replace
Stephen Chow as Kato in the Green Hornet.
A new adaptation of the book Mrs. Frisby And The Rats Of
NIMH is underway at Paramount.
