Today's Quick Mention: Just so you know, NPR is streaming all
of St Vincent's upcoming Actor. You should give it a
listen,
as I'm sure it will make your life better. Just make sure to at least
try and ignore the fact that you can't actually take the album with you.
While the rest of the internet spent yesterday freaking out about Clipse/Kanye
and Sonic Youth, I was sitting around wondering why they weren't doing the
same for One For The Team. Then I realized that I really liked their
last effort and I still didn't know they had readied a new EP.
Distractions are bad. Build A Garden is out now on Afternoon
Records. Enjoy.

you're looking for something that's fairly accessible then
you should probably skip down to the video, because this
fine number, with its soaring vocals and engaging
arrangement, is a bit more suited to appeal to you if you're
sprawled out on the floor, feeling hazy and sporting a pair
of headphones. I bet this thing kills live.
