I've noticed that most people's reactions to Observe And Report have been very split (clearly, it's Rotten Tomatoes score is 50%), but I'd like to say that when I saw it at SXSW I thought it was one of the better dark comedies I'd seen in a very long time.  Definitely give it a chance if you like twisted humor and weird characters.

The first one hasn't even been released yet, but Robert Downey Jr. thinks there may already be plans for a sequel to Sherlock Holmes.

Speaking of flicks that haven't come out but are already going to have sequels, Todd Phillips is set to pen a follow-up to The Hangover.

Rumor has it that Tron 2.0 may cost almost 300 million dollars.  This can't be true, right?


Actor Terry Crews let it slip that Arnold Schwarzenegger does have a part in Terminator Salvation.

Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson are in talks to join the cast of Clash Of The Titans as warring gods.

Gore Verbinski has decided to pass on Pirates Of The Caribbean 4 in favor of adapting Bioshock and Clue.

Angelina Jolie is supposedly in talks to appear in Sin City 2, which is rumored to be getting close to going into production.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is rumored to be in talks to do a Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie.

Sony has hired a couple of writers to pen a Venom spin-off.

An adaptation of the children's book Betsy And The Emperor is finally going to happen.  Al Pacino will play the role of Napoleon, who the main character meets after he is exiled.

More have joined the cast of The Expendables.  This time it's Brittany Murphy and David Zayas.

John Woo's drama 1949 has been canceled due to rights issues.

Bryan Singer's upcoming thriller Prisoners may star Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg.

Faith No More's Mike Patton will apparently voice the Decepticon Mixmaster in Transformers 2.

Rick Moranis, who hasn't made a film in forever, is said to be up for doing Ghostbusters 3.

Gary Oldman is not in Iron Man 2 as Tony Stark's father.  However, Gary Shandling will play a reporter.

There's a report floating around that says Warner Bros. does not intend to use Jonny Quest as the title of the upcoming movie (which might feature Zak Efron in the lead role).  They think it will remind people of Speed Racer.

Tony Gilroy is the latest name to pop up as director for the next Bond entry.
