Today's Quick Mention:  The number 7 has finally popped up in April, and that means it's totally time for me to wish a big Happy Birthday to my sister Joni.  She still isn't old enough to drink the good stuff, so here's hoping she gets her fair share of soda and candy.  Yeah!

Roughly forever ago now I received an EP at my college radio station called Three Moods Of The Noisettes.  Instantly, I knew the band would be huge.  And it happened.  Or, at least it would have had What's The Time, Mr. Wolf? not taken forever to come out.  Such a thing won't happen this time with Wild Young Hearts, so climb on the bandwagon while you can.  It's out this month.  Enjoy.

:The Noisettes - Wild Young Hearts:  As shown by this track and the video below, the limitless energy and attitude of songs like Don't Give Up and Scratch Your Name seem to have been replaced by pop rock perfection.  And you know what?  That's OK.  A few years go I think this probably would have really bothered me, but I recognize now that at the end of the day it's all about showcasing the crazy talent of singer Shingai Shoniwa, and she certainly shines bright here.  Again, they will be huge.
