Today's Quick Mention: This is odd, but I sort of wish that
Trent Reznor really had made a NIN's album with Timbaland, as it would have
made for one bizarre listen. On another note, we dominated at trivia
last night and came away with our second first place win in a row.
Bam.
It's been roughly two years since White Rabbits delivered the so-very good
Fort Nightly, so it goes without saying that I'm happy that they've
readied a new LP. Actually, let me clarify, I'm thrilled that
they've readied a new LP, and it's all because Spoon's Britt Daniel helped
them do it. It's Frightening is set to be released on May 19,
and I expect it to be spectacular. Enjoy.

Rabbits - Percussion Gun:
I kind of figured that Britt Daniel would help the band
focus their energy and become better overall songwriters,
but I wasn't expecting something this inspired. I
mean, do you remember the sheer intense awesomeness of
The Ghost Of You Whispers? Well, this is like
that, but raucous in a way that only White Rabbits' no
punches pulled take on indie rock can be. I need this
record now.
