I will soon (maybe this week) share with you the details for how posting will go for the rest of year, but I at least want to go ahead and let it be known that this week will end on Wednesday with Noah, John Michael and myself recommending some holiday tunes.  Good times!  Alright, helping put a little pep in your step on this Monday is Gramercy Arms.  Their press release says that they're a super group of sorts since the lineup includes current and former members of Guided By Voices, Luna, Joan Wasser, Joan As Police Woman, Dead Air, the Damnbuilders and Dave Darby, and I totally agree - without even considering the long list of guest stars that appear on the self titled debut.  If you like what you hear then know that the album is available digitally.  Enjoy.

:Gramercy Arms - Automatic:  So, what do you get when you take a bunch of rather talented musicians (who also happen to have a ton of experience and success) and have them make a record?  Something good.  Ok, maybe that isn't always what transpires, but in this case it would seem that we're all on the receiving end of some very well done retro pop.  You should expect this to immediately lodge itself in your head.  Forever.

This video has some of the most random stuff all thrown together, but I totally dig it.  The name of the track is Shining Bright (Dead Air Remix).
