As if you didn't already know, it's Election Day!  My guess is that most of you have already voted, which is both smart and wonderfully convenient.  I, for one, really like waiting in lines, so I'll be heading down today to write myself in for President.  Just kidding.  Sort of.  Anyhow, I was thinking of what would be appropriate to share today and I decided that it should be move-inspiring for winners and losers  That way, whether your candidate wins or loses, you'll still be able to dance out your feelings in a way that would make Kevin Bacon and the cast of Footloose proud.  I honestly don't know if the track below will end up doing the trick, but I like that the title can at least be used as a taunt or something to take solace in.  Get Solid Gold's new LP on their Myspace.  Enjoy.

:Solid Gold - Get Over It:  Outside of wondering how many more tongue-in-cheek Election Day remarks I can fit into this ramble, I'm also really curious as to why Solid Gold isn't being raved about all over the place.  I mean, their sound is of the easily accessible, foot tapping style of electro pop that people tend to go crazy about, so where's all the love!?  In any case, if you'd like to join me on what I'm calling the bandwagon of feel good tunes then feel free to do so.

Just in case it takes two songs to make you want to get up and move, I went and found this video for a charming tune titled Bible Thumper.  And no, that's not a political thing - I think.
