So,
what did you guys think of Indiana Jones And The
Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull? Personally,
I thought it was maybe a little too slick for its
own good, but I still had a really great time with
it. I'd even say it was my third favorite in
the series (Raiders Of The Lost Ark being the
best, Temple Of Doom being the worst).

The Rundown -
If
somewhere around a million pieces fall perfectly into
place, Robert Downey Jr. will portray Hugh Hefner in the
big screen tale about his life during the early days of
Playboy.
Sony has officially paid to keep the rights to
Spider-Man, so rumor has it that they may try to
push out a new film in the series as soon as 2010.
Clint Eastwood recently noted at Cannes that the
character of Dirty Harry won't be making a comeback.
Spike Lee has announced that he will be doing a
documentary on the last two years of Michael Jordan's
career in the NBA. If you remember, those seasons
were spent with the Washington Wizards.
Because of scheduling problems Martin Scorsese has
dropped out the planned bio-pic of Bob Marley.
Jonathan Demme will take his spot in the director's
chair.
Speaking of
Scorsese, rumor has it that he might be ready to get the
ball rolling on a film about Frank Sinatra.
It would appear that Amy Winehouse has been replaced by
Beyonce as the singer of the theme song for the upcoming
Quantum Of Solace.
Marvel is all set to adapt the Runaways, which is
about a group of teens who discover that their parents
are super villains, so they set out on their own to do
good.
In other Marvel news, they recently confirmed that in
addition to a sequel to Iron Man they are indeed
working on full length adaptations for Captain
America and Thor. As should have been
expected, all of these will lead to an Avengers
movie.
Jake Gyllenhaal has been cast as Dastan in the upcoming
Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time.
John Cusak and Chiwetel Ejiofor have signed on to star
in Roland Emmerich's apocalyptic epic 2012.
The film, as usual with Emmerich, will deal with the end
of the world and unlikely people becoming heroes.
John Woo's next flick will be 1949. The
romance-filled story is said to follow true events that
happened in China towards the end of World War II.
It has been known for quite awhile, but Christian Bale
has officially signed on to appear in three
Terminator flicks.
Keira Knightley is all set to appear in another period
piece, as she has signed on to appear in an adaptation
of King Lear.
