So, what did you guys think of Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull?  Personally, I thought it was maybe a little too slick for its own good, but I still had a really great time with it.  I'd even say it was my third favorite in the series (Raiders Of The Lost Ark being the best, Temple Of Doom being the worst).  Who else is with me!?

Here's the weekly update.  Read on.

- The Rundown -

If somewhere around a million pieces fall perfectly into place, Robert Downey Jr. will portray Hugh Hefner in the big screen tale about his life during the early days of Playboy.

Spike Lee has announced that he will be doing a documentary on the last two years of Michael Jordan's career in the NBA.  If you remember, those seasons were spent with the Washington Wizards.

Because of scheduling problems Martin Scorsese has dropped out the planned bio-pic of Bob Marley.  Jonathan Demme will take his spot in the director's chair.

Speaking of Scorsese, rumor has it that he might be ready to get the ball rolling on a film about Frank Sinatra.

In other Marvel news, they recently confirmed that in addition to a sequel to Iron Man they are indeed working on full length adaptations for Captain America and Thor.  As should have been expected, all of these will lead to an Avengers movie.

Jake Gyllenhaal has been cast as Dastan in the upcoming Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time.

John Cusak and Chiwetel Ejiofor have signed on to star in Roland Emmerich's apocalyptic epic 2012.  The film, as usual with Emmerich, will deal with the end of the world and unlikely people becoming heroes.

John Woo's next flick will be 1949.  The romance-filled story is said to follow true events that happened in China towards the end of World War II.

It has been known for quite awhile, but Christian Bale has officially signed on to appear in three Terminator flicks.

Keira Knightley is all set to appear in another period piece, as she has signed on to appear in an adaptation of King Lear.
