If I had to pick one guilty pleasure act to champion in 2008 and beyond I believe that at this point in my life it would have to be the Ting Tings.  They're just brilliant and loveable in all of the right ways, and that's exactly why just a few months after being mentioned on SOTO I'm featuring them again.  Actually, I'm doing it because in that said time the UK duo has pretty much gotten as close one can get to blowing up and being able to lay claim to the world.  I've sort of expected their upcoming full length, We Started Nothing, to push them over the edge on its own, but with the recent announcement that they landed one of those snazzy iPod commercials I'm pretty sure there is no stopping them now.  The Ting Tings will own you come May 18.  Enjoy.

:The Ting Tings - Shut Up And Let Me Go:  Oddly enough, this is more along the lines of what I was expecting when I first got my hands on the new CSS.  The songwriting has pretty no depth or jewels of wisdom, but if you can manage to not walk around singing "shut up and let me go" over and over again then I'll be amazed.  And the music?  Yeah, that's full of more dance-inspiring sounds than you've come across in a good while.  I honestly don't see how anyone couldn't like this.

The last video that I shared from the duo was them doing That's Not My Name live, but since they had something a little more official made I figured you might want to see it.  Plus, it totally gives me an excuse to give this catchy tune more exposure.
