So, I strolled out to my car yesterday to find my window smashed and my CD player missing.  I know it's just a physical item that doesn't mean much in the long run, but I'm having a hard time getting over how amazingly annoying it is.  If you have a spare moment then feel free to join me in willing total and complete destruction on whoever did it.  On a more positive note, I received word that it was all good to share the first single from Langhorne Slim's new self titled album for Kemado Records.  I thought the new songs that Langhorne and the War Eagles did at SXSW were pretty good, so I'm expecting the disc to be one worth remembering.  Or else.  Expect to see it on store shelves at the end of April.  Enjoy.

:Langhorne Slim - Rebel Side Of Heaven:  "We ain't going to hell/We're going to the rebel side of heaven."  With every effort these guys get a little better when it comes to songwriting, so I'm not really surprised with the crafty lyrical quips that litter this gem.  However, I am a little taken back with the arrangement.  They've always had a penchant for going all out and keeping it simple, and yet this is all about subtle touches.  Nicely done, fellas.

There isn't much out there that is more fun than Langhorne Slim live, and part of that is due to how for every raucous sing-a-long there is an equally somber tune that just begs for your quiet attention.  The latter is what you'll experience in this video for I Love You, But Goodbye.
