I know SXSW was only about a week long, but I swear that I feel as if I missed out on more movie related news clips than I know what to do with.  So, because of that bewildered sense you may see a couple of items below that were being discussed as I was messing around trying to catch every artist that had invaded this town.  Hopefully you won't mind too much.  Read on.

- The Rundown -

Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton) has added some members to the cast for this new film, Duplicity.  The corporate thriller will now star Paul Giamatti, Tom Wilkinson, Clive Owen and Julia Roberts.

Michael Cera is in negotiations for the lead role in Edgar Wright's adaptation of the comic book Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life.  The story centers around a young man who finds the love of his life, but before she can be his he must defeat her seven ex-boyfriends.

Sam Raimi is rumored to be in talks with Paramount to direct a re-boot of the Jack Ryan series that will feature a very young actor in the famed role and a story that may not be based on any of Tom Clancy's books.

It has been rumored for awhile now, but the Wachowski's have finally confirmed that they will indeed be following up Speed Racer with a martial arts revenge tale that is currently titled Ninja Assassin.  It will be directed by James McTeigue (V For Vendetta)

It would appear that Ridley Scott and Leonardo DiCaprio worked well together on the recently completed Body Of Lies, as both have signed on to do The Low Dweller.  The movie is set in the 80s, and it is about a man dealing with someone who is trying to exact revenge on him now that he is out of prison.

Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg have decided that Thomas Sangster (Love, Acutally) will be their Tintin.

There's no telling what will happen, but Sylvester Stallone is rumored to be interested in taking his Rambo character into a different genre for the next entry into the series.

Matthew Vaughn has signed onto direct an adaptation of Mark Millar's Kick-Ass.  The story centers around a kid who wants to be a superhero but has no actual powers, so he gets beat up on a regular basis.

Hugh Jackman is close to joining the cast of Neil Marshal's (The Descent) new flick, Drive.  He would play a stunt/getaway driver who goes on the run when he finds out that a contract has been taken out on his life.

Anton Yelchin (Charlie Bartlett) has signed on to be the young version of Reese in McG's new Terminator series.

Steve Zahn is all set to join the cast of A Perfect Getaway, which is about two newlyweds on their honeymoon who run into some murderous hitchhikers.

It's hard to believe, but John Singleton's big screen version of the A-Team has been given an actual release date.  Expect to see it in theaters on June 12, 2009.

Orlando Bloom has dropped out of the proposed adaptation of Nick Hornby's An Education.  Dominic Cooper (The History Boys) will be taking over the role.

Warner Bros. has officially announced that the final entry into the Harry Potter series will in fact be split into two movies.  David Yates will direct both parts.

Ben Affleck appears to be set to follow up his work on Gone Baby Gone with another adaptation.  This time around it will be Marcus Sakey's The Blade Itself, which centers around two childhood friends who reunite after taking drastically different paths in life.

Rumors are swirling that Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium) may be working diligently on bringing Metal Gear Solid to the big screen.

No one knows for sure, but many strongly believe that Clint Eastwood's proposed Gran Torino flick is actually a secret title for another Dirty Harry movie.

The oft-rumored Dune remake is officially underway with Peter Berg (The Kingdom) as the director.  No word yet on a release date, but that may be because as of now there is no script.
