Last night I attended a 35mm screening of Stop Making Sense, which is the Talking Heads concert film that was directed by Jonathan Demme.  I certainly can't consider myself the biggest fan of David Byrne and Co., but I thought it was a stellar "show" that showcased all of their best material, of which you probably know more of than you think (or that's how it was for me, anyways).  See it if you can!  On a totally different note, today I have something new from Club 8's Single/EP/Remix-thing for Jesus, Walk With Me.  The act is about as perfect as it gets when it comes to Swedish pop music, so I very much recommend seeking out the EP or the full length, The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Dreaming.  Both are available now via Labrador Records.  Enjoy.

:Club 8 - Jesus, Walk With Me (The Sound Of Arrows Remix):  I've liked the original, dreamy version of this song for a rather long time, but I think that the good people doing the remix made it worlds better.  I really like how they left the vocals and ditched the simplistic and slow arrangement for something a bit more electro-pop and, maybe more importantly, alive.  This gem now swirls around in your head and fills the room with all kinds of pretty.  That's right, pretty.  Deal with it.

Here is a nice video that was made for Whatever You Want.  The song was easily one of my favorite pop numbers from last year, so make sure you check it out if you missed it or don't remember its loveliness.
