Well, it would appear that TV On The Radio have readied a new full length that's titled Dear Science,.  It's suppose to be out in late September, so I'm kind of surprised that a first single hasn't been pushed out to the eagerly awaiting masses.  Let me know if you come across any tunes that leak from it!  Alright, today I have the latest number from Conor Oberst's upcoming self titled solo full length.  To be honest, if I had known about this around the time of I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning I would have been ecstatic, but after the uninspired set that was Cassadaga I'm really more hesitant than anything.  Still, the song below is a good one, and I am curious as to hear how Conor utilizes the Mystic Valley Band.  Merge will be releasing the album on on August 5.  Enjoy.

:Conor Oberst - Danny Callahan:  Oddly enough, the sound here is what I was expecting from Conor after the brilliant but sometimes heavy-handed I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning.  The overall feel that is actually casual and worthy of relaxed foot tapping and repeat listens that don't require alcohol or slight depression.  I mean, this works whenever and wherever you want it to, and I think that's a rather nice development.  Good stuff.

There really isn't much to this video as far visuals go (it's just Conor and the guys playing around inside and outside the studio), but I would recommend turning it on and listening to the wide range of sounds that will probably make up the new disc.
