Well, it would appear that the
chances are good that I'll be seeing The Dark Knight tonight.
I'd say that I'm excited, but I think that would be grossly understating
exactly how bad I want to see it. I really believe that it's going to
be one of the year's best. Who's with me!? Alright, since it's
hump day and all I say that we go about doing a little grooving today in
celebration of the rest of the week being all downhill. The
nice artist helping us do this will be Emiliana Torrini, who has a new
record titled Me And Armini that's due out on Rough Trade in
September. I'm rather new to the Torrini bandwagon (she has been
putting out music since the late 90s), but even I'm thinking that the new
full length will be pretty stellar. Enjoy.

Torrini - Me And Armini:
I can't say I've ever sat around wishing and hoping that
someone out there would deliver a gem with an
electronic-tinged reggae arrangement thrown down underneath
silky smooth songbird vocals, but I will note that I like
it. A lot. In fact, why haven't I been demanding
this sound forever? Good thing people don't depend on
me for that sort of stuff.
Emiliana has so
much stuff on Youtube that I feel like I could highly
recommend, but for time's sake I think you'll be rather
satisfied with Sunny Road, which is a beautiful song
set alongside some really nice animation.
