It has been forever since I've reminded you people to check out my posts over at Austin Sound, but today (and maybe only today considering how awful I am mentioning it) I really want you to go there and listen to Dan Dyer.  The guy's really got a hell of a voice that you need to hear.  Plus, if you haven't already, you can see the snazzy new design.  As for your entertainment on this site, there is a new single from Pelle Carlberg to be had!  I've written about the pop artist a few times since SOTO was created, and since I think he is one of the best in a crowded genre I'm sure I'll keep rambling about him until the end of the internet.  Labrador will be delivering Pelle's latest glorious collection of catchiness, The Lilac Time, on August 27.  Enjoy.

:Pelle Carlberg - 1983 (Pelle And Sebastian):  In addition to making music that I can't help but incessantly tap my foot and sing-a-long with, Pelle has a wonderful knack for writing lyrics that play out exactly like the stories your friends would share with you.  He has nagged someone who didn't like him in Go To Hell, Miss Rydell, he has confessed affection for the non-perfect in I Love You, You Imbecile and now in this gem he speaks on the trials of growing up.  If only all indie pop could be this engaging.

I don't post many songs multiple times, but the aforementioned I Love You, You Imbecile is so good that I can't help but repeatedly mention it.  Here's the relatively simple video that was made for it.
