Finally!  An original piece of audible material from Cassettes Won't Listen (aka Jason Drake, the Director Of Marketing for the fantastic Def Jux Records) arrived in my inbox yesterday.  I have absolutely no idea what took so long for the guy to quit distracting himself with cover songs, but I'm glad that he finally decided to move onto something different.  I mean, I could only ramble about the possibility of an official release for so long!  In any case, Small-Time Machine is what Jason's upcoming seven-track EP is set to be called, and it will be delivered to the masses on March 11.  There will also be a short tour and an appearance at SXSW, which is great for any of us that will be lucky enough to be there.  Now, onto the long awaited gem!  Enjoy.

:Cassettes Won't Listen - Paper Float:  Well, the good news is that this song alone makes the overly long wait more than worth it.  And the bad news?  There isn't any.  I'm honestly not sure that Jason could have made anything more perfect.  It literally sounds like the Postal Service swallowed everything good that's come out of the indie and electro pop genres over the last five years.  You absolutely need to hear this.

Here is a nice look at CWL live and in person.  The name of the song is Where Did Go, and if you remember I actually posted it once before by way of a different video.  I thought it would be on the new EP, but it's not on the track listing.  Anyone have some info on where it can be found?
