I hope the New York Giants get crushed in the Super Bowl.  Not only did they knock my Cowboys out, but they ruined any chance of me seeing Brett Favre go out on top.  Go Patriots!  Anyways, let's move forward by revisiting Santogold (aka Santi White), an artist that was in this weekend's podcast.  When I introduced her mellow effort known as L.E.S. Artistes I mentioned that her other stuff sounded similar to M.I.A., and after constant listening all weekend I decided that today would be a good time to show you exactly what I meant.  As of now she has an EP, I Believe In Santogold, but supposedly work is underway on a full length that will surely blow minds whenever it arrives.  Board the bandwagon now.  Enjoy.

:Santogold - Creator:  I know you're all going to be thinking of M.I.A. as you listen to this, so I want to go ahead and point out that if you do so then it's totally OK.  Why?  Because Santi sounds a lot like her here.  There's no going around it.  Even after numerous listens the comparison still pops in my head.  Although, I will say that I think Santi puts more swagger into her sound, which in the end makes songs like this come off a little bigger and crazier.  My guess is that you'll be fine with that.  I know that I am.

Just so know, this isn't necessarily a video worth watching unless you're really interested in scattered pictures of Santi.  However, the song, which is titled Shove It (Switch Remix), is fantastic.  I recommend that you hit play and then go about browsing the web or whatever else you're doing.
